Roumisha Mewada

Figma - UI/UX Design

Roumisha Mewada enrolled in the Figma - UI/UX Design course to learn how great apps and websites are designed, from the first sketch to a tested prototype. The course gave her a clear, step-by-step path into UI/UX, even for someone starting with little design experience.

Her learning began with the core ideas of user experience. She studied how to research users, define their problems, create personas and plan journeys. She practised turning those findings into user flows and low-fidelity wireframes, so she could plan a product's structure before choosing any colours or fonts.

She then learned to work confidently in Figma. She explored frames, auto layout, grids, constraints, components, variants and styles, and learned how to organise her files so they stay clean and easy for a team to use. She also built a basic design system covering colours, typography, buttons and spacing.

With these tools, she designed screens for mobile apps and websites that adapt to different screen sizes. She focused on readability, visual hierarchy, consistent spacing and accessibility, so her designs are easy for everyone to use.

She also learned prototyping. She linked screens together with interactions, transitions and animated components to create clickable flows that feel like a real product. She then tested these prototypes with users, listened to their feedback and improved her designs in several rounds.

Alongside the technical skills, she developed the habit of explaining her design decisions clearly, a skill that matters in client meetings and interviews. She also practised preparing organised files for developer handoff.

By the end of the course, Roumisha had built a design portfolio that shows her skills to employers and clients.
